Although I would like your suggestion better because it would mean new places to search, Steven Thomas, the professional genealogist I hired to trace my Isle of Man ancestors found Rose Cottage, The Green, Castletown, about a month ago. (He has been working on my tree since the end of August.) He also found out that "Rose Cottage was recently sold for £765,000 about $1.8 million US dollars." We believe that Catherine Christian was most likely a servant there during the years that she wrote from that address. It must be quite a place!
