Yes, that is from my family's records. They note that she and Robert "came to America from Douglas in the fall of 1855 with their four children. A brother, William (father of Thomas Gelling) apparently never came to America but his only child did. A sister Ellen C. Gelling came to American in 1852. She never married."

More from records: "We are all descendents of Robert Gelling. He had two brothers and one sister but they are all without descendents. Therefore, any other Gellings in the U.S. are unlikely to be close relatives."
