Hi Marg, First...the 1911 census transcrption I sent could have errors in the original transcription..you would have to see the original image to be sure...either way Lydia did not marry Harry ALLMAN until 1913 or should I say that is when the marriage was registered.

Second I found George (William) SKILLICORN in the 1911 census of Canada ....DOB April 1893..arrival year given as 1905 he is on a farm as a farm labourer at Waterloo North, Ontario. No sign of James though in that census, however his death record turns up in Cheshire (Wirral) in 1970 I think I saw his marriage on the index as well.

If you could get your email to me some how I can send you the original immage of the Canada census...if not I might be able to post it somehow on Ancestry.
