Where were they described as Harold's "cousins" if he went to Canada several years later than the other two?

Father William said he was from Douglas. Have you checked the 1871 census for him, the 1901 & 1911 censuses for Harold, and the closest census after the birth of his father given there? Details?

The relationship between the two fathers may be able to be worked out from these.
