I also was looking through my MI's of Patrick and Foxdale but could not find much in there also.

Am still looking for these children of Philip Shimmin & Catherine Quine John Shimmin ch 2 Oct 1796, Catharine ch 14 Jul 1799, Margaret ch 30 May 1802, William ch 1 Jan 1804 -

I do know this Sarah Shimmin married Thomas Moore of Arbory, Ann Shimmin married Thomas Moore of Patrick

I believe the Thomas Moore ch 24 Nov 1793 married Ann Cowley - I do believe this Thomas Moore settled in JoDavies County Illinois with daughter Ellen or Eleanor who later married a Charles Bawden, the birth dates of Eleanor seem to also match with tombstone dates.

Tombstone ages and death dates have ? marks after him, also a family tree in the US has a Thomas Shiimin b 1753 married to Ann Cowler, but to be 84 years of age to have a daughter Elinor ch 25 Oct 1835 and also a daughter Ellen ch 18 Jun 1837 woud sure be pushing it.

The other thing about this 1861 census which also makes me wonder is could Ann Eastman also be Catharine, Ann for short? If so these three individuals could be the children of Philip Shimmin & Catherine Quine - Catharine Shimmin ch 14 Jul 1799, Margaret (Shimmin) Cubbon ch 30 May 1802, William Shimmin ch 1 Jan 1804

I also stumbled upon this today, am wondering if this could be the Thomas Shimmin (son of Philip Shimmin & Catherine Quine) & Ann Cowley with daughter Ellen

Am wondering if the age for Thomas could be off because of blocking or rounding
