That sounds like a Charles who never made it back home to Ireland! I wonder whether the lead coffin was made with that in mind? I have had a quick look at my Irish information and cannot find a suitable Charles!

I had picked up information about the early Edward in connection with Castle Rushen Disbursements, linking him with a Frank Fleetwood in December 1714:

"making morter in the Castle for the Bannio house in ye West Street...latting and plaistring the little sellar in the bannio house...taking up the pump and taking up the shores and cleaning them and flaging them over again...hoising up the water and mire from the bottom of the well from Frank and Edward Fleetwood at the said work...setting down the pump in the well and flaging about it..."

I was wondering whether Frank could have been a brother?
