If I remember correctly, Pat Galovich said that the FHC which Brian used is to be closed from 30 June until September. It is very kind of Mary to get the marriage details for you.

Pat has been doing a sterling job transcribing wills (and more recently joined in this task by Jim Smith) from the 100s of films which Brian had there on permanent loan - i.e. he had bought them. Pat managed to catch them just before they were to be sent back to Salt Lake City after Brian's death, because the LDS staff didn't realise that other people were researching IoM records. She and Jim are transcribing whole films of wills as fast as they can! You can see these at lawsonsiom.freevar.com/ amongst other new transcripts.
Brian also had parish registers, civil birth and marriage registers, dissenters, etc., on permanent loan. Eventually these will all be sent back to SLC, but Pat and Jim will be back at the FHC in Sept (health permitting) plugging away at the wills, so if you feel like joining in I'm sure the help would be appreciated!
