Thank you for this info, Sue. I tried to telephone my local LDS Family History center in Abbotsford yesterday, but there was no answer. I'll have to wait until Monday now.

I'm hoping to be able to order in a copy of that film to look at and take a photocopy of George & Catherine's marriage cert.

At any rate, if I can't order it in, I don't mind buying a copy.

I used to see Brian Lawson every time I went to that family history center a couple of years ago, with his long grey pony tail, and ears full of earrings, typing his fingers off with his computer, transcribing all those films for his website.

I only recently heard that he passed away, and I was so sad. He had a real passion for this work, and was so good at it. I feel honored that I was able to meet him and have a few conversations with him.
