I have some information on this Kaighin/Caine union. It all agrees with Len's findings--Jane d/o Caesar Caine of Ballagyr German & Jane Joughin.
It also agrees that Caesar's line doesn't seem to connect with Hall Caine's line--at least not back to 1700.

I got started in genealogy over 40 yrs ago when I helped a friend with 2 Cain(e) lines who had the family story of connection to "cousin" Hall Caine. In the ensuing journey I have "met" a number of other Cain(e)s with the same family story.
My friend's Caine lines didn't connect, only one of the many others we all researched proved to have a connection--Neville Caine of New Zealand.

I have a lot of info on Jane Caine's line and would be happy to share. Would also be interested in receiving the info that others have on this Caine line.
