Maughold street ran from old cross to the shore road - parallel to todays Waterloo Rd, College street was futher north and ran west of St Pauls heading SE - very close but then Ramsey town was compact

73 Strand street can probably best be located by the now closed (and highly modified) Waterloo pub (now an Apple computer shop I think but being modified last month) - the house might still be there but will have a shop front - it was I think 2 doors down on right as you looked North up Strand St
