Hello Sue and everyone. I have eventually got the certs needed to get an an address for around the 1881 time.
Peters son William though born at 73 Strand st. Douglas ( which is where his sister was born in 1877 given as their home address. ) His mother now gives 26 College Street Ramsey as their home address, this is dated 11 Jan 1880.
Also I think I have his daughter from his first marriage (Mary Ann) giving birth to a child and the address given was Willow Cottage Maughold Street. Ramsey. Does anyone know anything about this place. Would it have been a small private place. Is there anyway I could find who lived there apart from searching page by page on ancestry and hoping that one isn't missing. I am wondering did the Leadbetters live there was she with her father and his family or was she on her own.
Oh I ask a lot don't I :-).
So the address I need to find are.
73 Strand St. Douglas. 26 College Street Ramsey and Willow Cottage Maughold St. Ramsey.
Any ideas would be helpful.
