Hi Everyone . Thanks I do have all this and yes they have been a pain sorting out. It is just I can't find them anywhere in 1881. Have looked and looked. Tell you this family have led us a merry dance :-).
I have found a child who I think was Peters to his first wife having a child who dies at a few month old in 1881 so I will send for these certs it may give a clue to an address. ( sorry if I am repeating myself anywhere :-)
Have also found another mystery on the Lawsons site have found a Mary Kim (was also a Leadbetter before her first marriage though on the marriage she states spinster) marrying a Peter Dodds in 1888 but in 1891 she is with a man as wife named John Cretney I have traced them back to the main land in later census still together. I found a John Cretney marrying a Lilian Peckham same year but different date so will send for this cert too to see if an error was made or have I another mystery.
