Lonan records are very difficult to research because of the use of the same names as forenames, missing records, and only the father's name being given at baptisms around this time.
Thanks to Lois Ralph who has done a great job in sorting out the Lonan Skillicorns, Margaret looks like the daughter of John Skillicorn and Ann(e) Faragher. John Skillicorn & Anne Faragher marr.23 Dec 1769, John bur. Lonan Apr 4 1817, will 1817 [LDS film no.0106241]: to eldest son Edward; son Philip; Mary Kelly; Ann Kelly; Margaret Maddrell; (Wm) exec.
Ann buried Lonan July 17 1812, will 1812 [0106415] als Faragher, wife of John Skillicorn; to children: eldest Edward, Philip, Mary (marr.John Kelly); Ann (marr.Wm Kelly); and Margaret.
