Neal, the following comes from my SKILLICORN files. My ancestor was Jane Skillicorn who married John CORKILL of Ballagorry Mooar, Maughold. Her brother Philip also moved to Maughold, and ties up with your Edward.
Lonan records are very difficult to search, with blocks of entries missing from the parish register, hence the number of presumed dates. During the 1700s the wills were extremely important to sort out these families, even though many of the wills were damaged.

John SKILLICORN 1717-1782 Lonan [see decree] married c.1740 Margaret KELLY who was buried 6 June 1789 Lonan [see will].

1. John SKILLICORN bapt 25 Nov.1744? eldest son of John Skillicorn, died 25 May 1799 Lonan. Of Chlock Coar, a parcel of Quarterland: part of Gretch Vane.
Married Jane KILLEY c.1784. [Jane KILLEY daur of James Killey & Joney FREER of Baljean.]

2. Jane SKILLICORN b.c.1750, buried “(Wid) B'Gorrey” 3 March 1823, married in Lonan 25 Aug 1771 to John CORKILL, farmer, bapt Maughold 29 June 1736 son of William Corkill 1694-1743 & Barbara Kerruish 1704-1768 of Ballagorry Mooar, Maughold. He was buried in Maughold on May 13 1798. Decree of John CORKILL Maughold Arch. 79 1798 LDS film no: 0106233.

3. Philip SKILLICORN, younger son of John SKILLICORN & Margaret KELLY, b.c.1755. Philip Skillicorn & Ann Kerruish married in Maughold on 16 Jan 1787 “Philip from Lonan”.

Their children baptised in Maughold were:
John SKILLICORN son of Philip Skillicorn & Ann Kerruish bapt Parish Church 1 Dec 1788, Private baptism. John SKILLICORN (Philip) buried Dec 30 1830.

Philip SKILLICORN son of Philip Skillicorn & Ann Kerruish bapt Parish Church 7 Nov 1790. Philip Skillicorn & Catherine CALLOW married Maughold 21 Jun 1817. Phillip SKILLICORNE 77 The Dhoon buried Aug 12 1868.

William SKILLICORN son of Philip Skillicorn & Ann Kerruish bapt Parish Church 25 Aug.1793. William SKILLICORN 63 Foleau buried 1 Sep 1856. [This is William Skillicorn 57 Farmer of 25 acres in the 1851 census Maughold, Folieu, which I posted yesterday.]

Thomas SKILLICORN son of Philip Skillicorn & Ann Kerruish bapt Parish Church 5 Feb 1798, Private baptism. Ann Jane infant daur of Tho SKILLICORN buried Dec 23 1836.

James SKILLICORN son of Philip Skillicorn & Ann Kerruish bapt Parish Church 1 Mar 1801. James SKILLICORN aged 54 Church Street, Ramsey buried 3 Mar 1856.

Ann SKILLICORN daur of Philip Skillicorn & Ann Kerruish bapt Parish Church 21 Aug 1803. Ann SKILLICORN infant buried Jan 18 1807.

Their mother Anne SKILLICORN was buried Feb 13 1815 [will].
Their father Philip SKILLICORN aged 78 was buried in Maughold Dec.19 1833, so b.c.1755.
