I had no idea about any of the Moores
Its a line I have just started to look at

It started with 1871 Census
Shalghage Kirk Michael

Catherine Quiggin age 40 als Cowley born K/M
William Quiggin age 60 Landowner born K/M
Catherine A Moore age 7 Cousin born Douglas
Margaret Callister age 16 Dom Serv

Catherine Quiggin was the sister of Margaret Cowley born K/m who married Thomas Cowley born Marown they are my GT GT Grandparents
I was trying to find out how Catherine Moore
was linked to the Cowleys

She appears in 1881 age 17 still with
C Quiggin
and also Elizabeth Corkhill age 64
Elizabeth was the sister of C Quiggins mother
Catherine Corkhill who married William Cowley
After this I cannot find a trace of her

I had found Jane Cowley on IGI with Father Daniel
I am thinking Jane Cowley is the connection
but I can't see where it all fits
if Catherine Moore is the cousin of Catherine Quiggin then her parents are either the brother or sister of C Quiggin or William Quiggin aren't they?
I don't think any of CQ or WQ's siblings fit the bill
I will take a long hard look at the info given
