I missed my regular visit to this board last night and was staggered to learn tonight of Brian's passing. The value of his work and his
co-ordination of the work of other researchers is imeasurable and I dearly hope that some fitting memorial can be put in place to commemorate his invaluable contribution. My condolences to his family and my prayers are with them in their hour of sadness.
