What sad news.

Is there any way anyone can think of, of sending a combined message of condolence to Brian's near ones, to let them know that there are many, many users of this board who feel a debt of gratitude to Brian for all the time he gave to what amounted to charitable work?

If that's not thought appropriate or possible, at least Brian was aware of the many good wishes when he closed his website.
