Pamela, Thanks to Len Faragher I have what I think is James and Eliza Skillicorn's marriage cert. it is from St Philips Church Liverpool dated 20th May 1840 James Morton shipwright to Eliza Skillicorn, parents James Morton Labourer and John Skillicorn Plasterer. Witnessed by William & Margaret Clague (both Manx fron Census). There are enough similarities despite the name Morton to think that this is the right cert. I thought I had the right death cert for Eliza Skillicorn in Liverpool in 1841 but it is for a 4yearold. Regards, Don Lawson.
