I too think I am of Quilliam blood. It would go back through several generations of women, one of whom married Miles Wilson. The records show that Miles married Catherine Fargher (another lists it as Catherine Sayle at Kirk Braddan on March 1, 1844) at St. Mary's Chapel (Castletown) on March 1, 1846 and christenings of their six children were also at St. Mary's. The residence on those documents list Balladoole and Miles as farmer, farm steward. I have the Catherine Sayle as the daughter of William Sayle and Ann Quilliam. And Ann Quilliam as the daughter of Jane Calcott and Henry Quilliam. Does any of this sound possible to you?
