My father (Samuel Myers of Bolton Lancs Born circa 1896 died 1963) served in the Lancashire Fusiliers during WW1. He was for some time on the Somme, and was later injured in a mustard gas attack. He had severe burns to his legs, the marks of which he carried until his death. Following his demob he went back to a textile mill in Bolton where he worked as a Mule Spinner. Does anyone know of him either during the First war or later
Thanks
