The small book contained no textual material other than the captions (+ advertisments for Beecham's Pills) - all comments are my own. The photographs most likely date from a single visit in 1895. It would appear that these photographs were later acquired by Francis Frith as some of them appear in Francis Frith's Isle of Man (ISBN 1-85937-065-9) where they are also dated 1894 or 1895
