Urban Bishop, etc. To his beloved sons John of Carlisle Chancellor of Dublin, and William Pyroim Rector of the parish of Dounbing in the diocese of Armagh, nuntios of the Apostolic See in Ireland, health, etc. It has come to Our knowledge through a trustworthy source, that our venerable brethren William Bishop of Emly, and John Bishop of the Sodor diocese, Apostolic nuntios in Ireland, and authorised collectors of the rents, incomes, and revenues which belong to the Apostolic chamber, have by reason of their office of collectors received large sums, of which they have given no account to the officers of Our Chamber nor to others in their name ; and have rashlypresumed to keep back those monies, and retain them in contempt of the Apostolic See, and at the risk of their own souls Wherefore We commit to your discretion, and command, by these Pre-sents, that both of you, or one of you, directly, or through another or others, peremptorily summon the above mentioned bishops |
