WILLIAM DE TWYNHAM v. JUSTICE MATKORY. A.D. 1290. WILLIAM de Twynham, of the Isle of Man, seeks the Kings Writ to the Sheriff of Lancashire, because the Justice, Duncan Matkory, and William his son, had deprived him of his goods to the value of fifty marks, against the peace. ANSWER.Let it be respited until it can be ascertained by the Kings Keeper of Man, after what manner it thus happened, and what the process is. |
