MANNIN is published by the Manx Society twice in the year: In the spring on Laa Boaldyn - May 12th, and in the autumn on Laa Houney - November 12th, and is sent post free for 2/3 yearly, payable in advance.
Subscriptions and literary contributions should be addressed to the Editor, Miss S. Morrison, Peel.
The blocks or other material for the several illustrations of this number have been kindly lent by the following. - 'Mr. A. Knox,' 'Castletown Harbour,' and 'On the Lincolnshire Coast' by the Knox Guild of Design and Crafts, of Kingston upon Thames; 'Pewter' by Messr. Liberty; 'St. George's Mill' by Mr. Holroyd, of Laxey, 'Cross slab' by the Archaeological Survey Trustees.
Subscriptions for 1916 are now due.
Founded in 1889 by the late Speaker Moore, C.V.O., and others.

Ordinary Members, an annual subscription of 2/6

1. To promote the cultivation of the Manx Language, Literature, and Music, and the publication of modern Literature in Manx.
2. The collection of oral Gaelic literature, consisting of folk-tales, poems, songs, proverbs, riddles, etc., still extant among the people.
