1663. SORCERY IN ARBORY.

Kirk Arbory Chapter Quest, Feb 28, 1663.

Alice Kewne and Alice Quirke presented on suspicion and being found on friday morning a little after daybreak beeing 19th Feb with their haire loose about their ears and had no clothes on them but their peticot about their heads bairefooted and they went past 2 land-markes and came to the third landmarke and their they were putting their hands out of their aprons and putt it to the hedge and had some-thing in their aprons wch y’ informer knowes nothing of neither had bee power to see what they had.
