Also complaining,with various instances,of the misbehaviour of Capt.Lidderdale,the DeputySearcher. Mentions the shallowness of the harbour at Peel,which is such that ships of any size have to discharge their cargo overside in the bay before they can enter. Mentions also his yard and cellars alongside the quay for the reception of his cargoes of wine and spirits. |

This was followed by a petition from Moore for a stay of execution of the orders given him to demolish part of his wall until he can establish that it is built in accordance with his rights, Also an account of a long conversation botween Moore and the Governor. (which seems to have got them nowhere. N.M.) |
