Sir
as the Duchess & I have been informed both by Governor Wood and others, that a report has been industriously raised and propagated in the Isle of Mann, that we were upon the point of making a sale of the Island ; we think it proper to acquaint you that we have at present no such intention and that no application whatsover has been made to us from government about it
I am Sir
