Some history is given in Reg Deed Dec 1880 #31 -
dated 13 Aug 1838;recites that Patrick & Issac Vondy (Ballig, Jurby) sold for £18 to Daniel Cleator(Jurby) on 14 Dec 1825 half of the Flax mill in parish of Lezayre held by them + Thomas Corlett(Claddaugh, Lezayre) - sd Daniel Cleator now sells his portion of the mill for £18 to John Vondy(Jurby) witt John Edwd Harrison, John Looney;
Annexed release + sale dated 30 Jul 1864 notes that mill has been allowed to fall into decay and the machinery and materials removed and that Daniel Vondy for £8 paid by Mrs Isabella Craine (widow of Daniel Craine late proprietor of the Claddagh Mill) quit claims any right to sd mill; Witt John Corlett, John Morrison .
So far I have not been able to locate the initial sale from Patrick and brother Isaac Vondy
