"In the name of God. Amen. I Catherine Quayle of Ballakilly slieu in the parish of KK Michael being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make my last will and testament in manner and form following: I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial. I leave and bequeath to my son William Quayle the sum of one pound British. I leave and bequeath to my son Charles Quayle the sum of five pounds British as legacy. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas the son of seven pounds British as legacy. I give and bequeath to my sons John and Robert the sum of sixteen pounds British each as legacy. I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth a gown as legacy. I give and bequeath to my daughter Catharine the sum of thirty pounds British as legacy to be paid to her when she arrives at twenty years of age together with a bed and best bed cloths with all my shaped clothes and apparel and that my executor will send her two years to school. I give and bequeath unto every person or persons who may pretend any further right and title to my goods and effects the sum of six pence each. To the witnesses of this will on shilling each. Lastly, I give and bequeath unto my beloved husband William Quayle all the rest, residue, and remainder of all and singular my goods, rights, credits, chattels and effects moveable and immovable whatever. And I do nominate, constitute and appoint him my said husband whole and sole executor of my last will and testament. At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael 7 June 1815, the executor is sworn in Court in form of law for the payment of debts and legacies as also guardian and supervisor of the child under age and to these ends he hath given pledges namely the witnesses to the will.

I Charles Quayle of the Parish of KK Michael do acknowledge to have received from William Quayle of the Parish of Andreas executor of the last will and testament of Catharine Quayle late of the Parish of Michael deceased the sum of five pounds British . . . As witness my subscription this 28^th day of May 1824. [signed] Charles Quayle.
