Archdeacon Wills 1815 #31, Arbory, of Ann Cubbon als Moore, widow, made 2 January 1815:

"The last will and testament of Ann Cubbon, widow, of the parish of Arbory, being of sound mind, and perfect memory at making the same this second day of January 1815. First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item, she left to her daughter Margaret the sum of ten pounds. Item, she left to her daughter Elinor the sum of ten pounds. Item, she left to Jane, wife of Richard Radcliff the sum of one guinea. Item, she left to her sister Jane, wife of John Corrin the sum of one guinea. Item, she left to her son John the sum of three guineas, which said sum he was to give or to spend upon his four oldest daughters. Item, she left to her son Richard the sum of five pounds. Item, she left her two daughters all her shaped apparel equally between them, and a fine sheet apiece. Lastly, she left and appointed her two sons, namely Henry Cubbon & Richard Cubbon whole and sole Executors of all the rest of her goods and effect, of whatever kind or nature, debarring and excluding every other person or persons or claimers with half a crown legacy, who shall sue to the contrary hereof. Witnesses: John Waterson, Catharine Duke. At an Ecclesiastical Court holden at KK Marown, 10th February 1815, the executors are sworn in Court in form of Law and also to be true and just the either to the other in the division of effects, and have given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Waterson the witness and John Cottier of KK Marown. To the Revd Vical General Stephen, the humble petition of Richard Cubbon & Henry Cubbon the Executors of Ann Cubbon, widow of the parish of Arbory; Sheweth, that the said Ann Cubbon departed this life on the 9th day of January 1815, left and appointed your petitioners, the said Richard Cubbon and Henry Cubbon to be her Executors; That your petitioners hath many good reasons, and various occasions for having, the said Ann Cubbon’s last will and testament timely confirmed and recorded in Law; Wherefore, your petitioners prays for a hearing of this Petition and that your Reverence will be pleased to admit the said Richard Vubbon and Henry Cubbon to be sworn joint Executors of the said last will and testament of the said Ann Cubbon, and your Petitioners will pray &c, &c. Ordered that this Petition do come on to be heard at the Court house in Balla-yearrey in Marown, on Friday the 10th Instant, whereof all proper parties and persons are to have due notice, given at Marown this 2nd February 1815. [signed] xx Stephen. I do hereby that by virtue of Revd. Vicar General Stephen’s order granted on the Petition of Richard Cubbon & Henry Cubbon, Executors of Ann Cubbon of Arbory, I have summoned John Cubbon, Walker Watterson, & John Duke being the nearest Relation of the said Ann Cubbon. And John Watterson & Catharine Duke as witnesses. All the said persons being of Arbory to appear at a Court to be holden at Balla-yiarree in KK Marown, by 11 o’clock in the forenoon on Friday next, to answer the suit or Petition of the said plaintiffs, this I aver this 7th of February 1815.
