Archdeacon Wills 1801 #27, of John Cregeen of Portlemurrey, Rushen, Made 20 Mar 1800:

"The last will and testament of John Crejeen of Portlemurrey, being in perfect mind and memory. I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial. Item, I leave to my son John Crejeen the sum of ten pounds British with my share of the boat Wheney and all my clothing woolen and linen except my big coat my son Thomas Crejeen is to have. Item, I leave to my daughter Isabell the sum of ten pounds British. Item, I leave to my grandchildren each of them is for to have the sum of ten shillings and six pence British. Item, I leave to my grandchild Margaret Crejeen daughter to my son Thomas Crejeen a bed and bedstead with clothing. Item, I leave to my daughter Ann Gawn als Cregeen the sum of ten pounds British. Item, I leave to the poorest of the parish of KK Christ Rushen the sum of one guinea. Lastly, I nominate constitute and appoint my loving sons Thomas Crejeen and Wiliam Crejeen my sole Executors of all the rest of my worldly goods and effects moveable and immoveable. In testimony hereof I subscribe my name this March 20th, 1800. [signed] John Crejeen. Witnesses: William Clucas, Richard Harrison.

At an Ecclesiastical Court holden in the Parish of KK Patrick on the 2nd day of January 1801: The Executors are sworn in Court in form of Law as also to be just to each other in the division of the residue of the Testator’s Estate and have given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will. Probatum est. [signed] Ev. Christian.

At KK Patrick 19th February 1802[?], John Crejeen, Thomas Callister husband of Isabel Crejeen, the grandchildren at age and the parents of those under age, Margaret Crejeen daughter of Thomas Crejeen & Henry Gawn husband of Ann Gawn als Crejeen have all acknowledged to have received from Thomas Crejeen and William Crejeen the Executors of the last will and testament of John Crejeen of Portlemoirrey the legacies left and bequeathed to them severally and respectively in the said will and have acquitted exonerated and discharged the said Thomas Crejeen & William Crejeen their executors, administrators and assigns of the same and every part thereof. Before me [signed] Ev. Christian.
