"Michael: I John Quiggin of Shughlague in the parish of KK Michael being in sound mind memory and understanding and taking
into consideration the uncertainty of this life do make my last will and testament in manner following.
First, I commit my soul to God and my body to be decently buried.
Item, I leave and bequeath to my three sons namely John Quiggin, William Quiggin, and Daniel Quiggin the sum of five shillings
British to each of them.
Item, I leave an bequeath to my son Thomas Quiggin a coat.
Item, I leave and bequeath to my three daughters namely Margaret Cowley, Jane Quay, & Elenor Kermod the sum of five
shillings British to each of them.
Item, I leave and bequeath to my daughter Christian Shimmin the sum of one pound one shilling British with three sheep.
Also I leave and bequeath to my grandson Daniel Kermod a yearling.
Also, I leave and bequeath to the witnesses of this my last will to Phillip Quiggin a sheep and to William Quiggin one shilling
British.
Lastly, I nominate constitute and appoint my daughter Isable Quiggin sole Executor of all the rest of my goods chattels
and effects moveable and immoveable of what nature soever hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time here before
made ratifying this and no other to be my last will and testament and do hereby and by these presents cut off all other
claimers with six pence legacy each in witness unto I have caused my name to be here unto set this 8th day of

At an Ecclesiastical Court holden in the Court house in the parish of KK Patrick on the 5th January 1799: The
Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law . . .
To the Revd Ev: Christian Vicar General: the humble Petition of Isabel Quiggin of the parish of KK Michael, Sheweth, That
your Petitioners father namely John Quiggin of the Parish of KK Michael departed this life on or about the 21st
day of December last past and left your Petitioner Executor of his goods and effect and that the said John Quiggin stood
indebted to sundry persons in considerable sum of money; that the personal estate of the said Decedent is in a perishable
condition and if not immediately taken care of many be very prejudicial to the Executor and the creditors of the said Decedent;
