                                      At an Ecclal. Court holden
                                      in the Court house in the
                                      Parish of KK Patrick on the
                                      23rd Day of March 1798

                   ELINOR QUINE of the Parish of KK
Lonan / Spinster / having departed this Life about
twelve years ago Interstate and Thomas Quine her
Father late decd. having survived her and neglected 
to [sue] out letters of Administration of her Effects
but having previous to his Death duly made
published and declared his Last will and Testamt.
and thereof nominated and appointed Margaret
Quine his wife Executrix and Residuary Legatee and
The Court having  having  received Intelligence
thereof hath DECREED her the said Margaret
Quine sole Adminitratrix of all and singular 
the Goods Rights Credits Chattels and Effects of
the said Elinor Quine and She is thereupon sworn
well and truly to administer the same and to pay
all the just Debts of the said Intestate so
far forth as her Goods and Effects will extend
and the Law bind her and to these Ends she hath
given Pledges in Form of Law namely  Norris
Moore of Castletown Esqur. & Thomas Kneal of KK

To His Worship the Vicar Generall Christian

The Humble petition of Margaret Quine 
widow of the Parish of KK Lonan

Sheweth that your petitioners Husband
Thos. Quine who departed this Life some
time about last Easter. Married for his
                 
Wife Elinor ^Quine Alias^ Killip of the same Parish
Who previous to her death Left a Legacy
of five pounds Currency unto her 
Daughter Elinor Quine Which Said
Legacy was to be paid unto the Said
Legatee After the Death of her Father
Thos. Quine Senior your Petitionr. Late
Husband. How but the said Elinor Quine
the younger Departed this Life Some
Years before her Father Intestant and
Never having been Married in [consequence] of [which]
your petitioner also informs your Worship
that her Funerall Expences together with
All Other incumberances was defrayed by
your petitioner together with her Late [Husb.]
But in Consequence of Neglect and Ignorance
your petitioners Late Husband did not make                                   
a Decree on his Daughters ^Effects^ at the time
of her Death [Neither] as ….. been a 
Decree made on her Effects as yet.
And whereas your Petitioner was Left
Sole Executrix of her Husbands Last
Will & Testament of Whatsoever Nature
your petitioner therefore humble hopes that               
your Worship will ^Grant^ her a Decree in order to
Recover  the Said Legacy

                    And Your petitioner will be
                    Ever Pray   & C

                              Ordered that the beforegoing Petition
                   do come on to be heard at an Ecclal. Court to
                   be holden in the Court house in this Parish
                   on Friday next whereof all proper Parties
                   & Persons to have due Notice ____
