"I Eunice Moore of the town of Douglas, widow and Relict of Philip Moore of
the Hills, Equire, deceased, being sick in body but sound and possessing mind
and memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament.
First, I commend my soul to God and my body to Christian burial at the discretion
of my Executrix hereafter named. I will order and direct all my just debts and
particularly a debt or sum of two hundred and ninety eight pounds ten shillings
due unto Mrs. Elizabeth Oates widow by deed of the honorable Court of Chancery
of this Isle bearing the date the 5th March 1789, and also the sum
of fifty pounds British or there abouts due unto her by not to be first paid
off discharged and satisfied.
I leave devise and bequeath unto my daughters the said Elizabeth Oates and Mrs.
Ann Murray widow my wearing apparel.
I leave and bequeath unto the said Elizabeth Oates all the household stuff and
furniture now belonging unto me in the house of the said Elizabeth Oates in
the town of Douglas.
I leave and bequeath all the furniture belonging to me and now in the house
of my daughter Ann Murray of .. widow unto her the said Ann Murray.
I leave devise and bequeath unto the aforesaid Mrs. Elizabeth Oates widow and
Mrs. Ann Murry widow all the rest of my goods chattels and effects of what ..
or denomination soever share and share alike and I appoint them joint executrices
of this my last will and testament.

At an Ecclesiastical Court holden in the Parish of St Ann on the ninth day of January one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight: Mrs. Ann Murray one of the residuary legatees and executrices in the before going will and Mrs. Elizabeth Oates the other residuary legatee and executrix therein and thereby likewise named and appointed being apprehensive that she could not undergo the trouble and fatigue attendant upon the execution of the said will and prayed that administration of the testatrixs estate with the said will ann.. might be committed to James Oates Esquire her son in trust for herself and her said co-executrix, The Court upon due consideration thereof doth hereby commit the administration of all and singular .. rights credits chattels and effects moveable and immovable whatever of the said testatrix unto him the said James Oates and the said will annexed in trust as aforesaid and his is here upon sworn well and truly to administer the will of the said Eunice Moore and exhibit a full true and perfect inventory thereof into the proper registry to pay all the testatrixs just debts and legacies so xx forth as the goods and effects will extend and the .. him and to render a true and faithful account of his said administration when thereunto lawfully required and to these ends he hath given pledges in form of law namely Norris Moore of Castletown Esquire and Mr. John Corlett one of the witnesses of the said will."
