Archdeacon Wills 1792 #52, Lezayre, of Joney Quayle als Caley, wife of William Quayle senior of Blockary:

"This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Joney Quayle als Caley wife of William Quayle senr of Blockary in the parish of KK Christ Lezayre, being of perfect mind and memory at the making hereof on the 1st day of November 1788, and then written. First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item, she left and bequeathed to her daughter Catharine thirty shillings; to her daughter Joney wife of William Kewish she left five shillings; to her daughter Jane she left thirty shillings; and to her daughter Mary wife of William Killip she left five shillings. (These four legacies are not to be paid till after the death of her loving husband.) Item, to her son John she left ten shillings. Lastly, she nominated appointed and ordained her son Nicholas Quayle whole and sole executor of all the rest of her goods and chattels moveable and immoveable whatsoever and to the witnesses of this her will she left fourteen pence apiece. Witnesses: William Corkil, John Crowe.

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre, June 21st, 1792, the Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will."
