Archdeacon Wills 1789 #64, Andreas, of Philip Radcliffe of Ballaradcliffe, made 12 Nov 1788, Andreas:

"12th November 1788: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Philip Radcliffe of Ballaradcliffe of the Parish of KK Andreas, being of sound mind and memory at the making thereof. First he committed his soul to God and body to Christian burial. He left and bequeathed to is son THOMAS RADCLIFFE his part of the Mill in KK Michael and the tythes of the Cowriagh in KK Christ Lezayre. He left and bequeathed to his two daughters MARY and MARGERY RADCLIFFE the sum of five shillings each and also the further sum of twenty pounds each when they arrive to the age of twenty two years, which is to be paid them by my said son Thomas Radcliffe upon condition of the legacies before bequeathed unto him. To my son Philip I bequeath the sum ten pounds. To my loving wife I bequeath the bed whereon I lie, and to my three daughters, vizt. JANE the wife of JOHN RADCLIFFE, ANN the wife of WILLIAM KNEALE, and ESTHER the wife of WILLIAM SAYLE, the sum of five shillings each. Lastly, he nominated and appointed his said son THOMAS RADCLIFFE whole executor of all the rest of his goods moveable and immovable whatsoever, and to the witnesses of this will one shilling each. Witnesses: John Martin, William Sayle.

AT A CHAPTER COURT holden at Lezayre June 17th, 1789, the executor is sworn in Court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will."
