This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Joney Corlett als Crebbin of the parish of KK Christ Lezayre who departed this life on or about the 6th of January 1776, being of sound mind and memory at the making hereof. First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial Item, to her two sons William and Robert she left and bequeathed the sum of two shillings apiece. And to her son Thomas she left two shillings and two yards of linen. To her daughter Anne she left and bequeathed her new domney, two shillings, and further left her said daughter Ann while she continued unmarried the benefit of the little house in the Gill, ground for a kishan of potatoes, ground for a hundred plants of cabbage in the garden, ground for so much see as she will want for her pot, and an hundred apples out of the garden yearly during as aforesaid. And she left the chest that her linens were in to her loving husband during his life and then to her foresaid daughter Anne after his life. And to her daughter Isabel she left bed clothes, a black gown, and a black petticoat, her little wheel, and two shillings in cash, is she shall come for them, if not as being abroad, her daughter Anne are to have them. Lastly, she nominated, appointed and ordained her loving husband William Corlet whole and sole executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever, and he to leave the lands to what child would best deserve it, and that child to give somewhat apiece to the rest. And she left six pence each to any that should crave. And to the witnesses of this her will she left six pence apiece. Witnesses: Hannah Cegal, Alice Corlet. At a Court of Correction holden at Lezayre, 14th February 1776, the executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Kneale and John Crane both of Lezayre.
