Archdeacon Will 1775 #55, German, of Thomas Crellin, died about 8 March 1775:

"This being the last will and testament of Thomas Crellin of German, who departed this life about the 8th of March 1775, being of sound and perfect mind & memory at the making thereof as follows: First, committing his soul to Almighty God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he left to his wife Cathrine Crellin als Cowley his right to the houses and lands during her natural life, And after her decease the said concerns of houses and lands should then return and descent unto his son Thomas Crellin forever. And that he his said son was not to sell or mortgage any of the premises left him as aforesaid. And further he left upon his said son to pay his sister Cathrine the sum of eight pounds as soon as he possess and enjoyed the premises. He left to his said daughter a feather bed and a chest. He left upon his said son to give his Uncle Thomas Cowley a room or shelter in his house during his natural life, also that his said son was to let his said uncle have the one half of the garden adjoining to the rent of Patrick Lace during his natural life. Also the Executrix hereafter mentioned hath consented to give her said daughter the further sum of thirty shillings. Lastly, he nominated and appointed his loving wife Cathrine Crellin als Cowley to be whole and sole Executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever and excluding any other person or persons that might pretend to claim further right to his goods with six pence legacy apiece. Witnesses: Thomas Cottier, William Cowin.

At a Chapter Court holden at Peeltown, June 16, 1775: The Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies vizt., Patrick Cowley of KK German & Thomas Radcliffe of Peeltown."
