Archdeacon Will 1772 #61 German, of Christian Sheimmin als Kewley,

died 20 April 1772: "German: The last will and testament of CHRISTIAN SHIMIN of KK German who departed this life 20th of April 1772, being of perfect mind & memory at the making hereof as followeth:
First, She commited her soul to Almighty God & her body to Christian burial.
She bequeathed to her SON WILLIAM SHIMIN twenty shillings.
She bequeathed to her SON HUGH SHIMIN his choise of the mares & her part of the sheep.
She bequeathed to her HUSBAND JOHN SHIMMIN her part of the house.
She bequesthed to the witnesses of the will on shilling British each.
She left her DAUGHTER MARGARET SHIMIN whole & sold Executrix of all the rest of her goods & effects moveable & immoveable of whatnature or denomination soever & debares all persons claiming any right to her goods and effects with six pence legacy. AT A CHAPTER COURT HOLDEN AT PEELTOWN 22D MAY 1772: The Executrix is sworn in Court in for mof Law & hath given pledges for the payment of debts & legacies namely the witnesses of the will. Solvit 12d, probatum est, Ja:Wilks, Joh:Moore, Tho.Cubbon."
