Archdeacon Wills 1767 #27, Braddan, of Isabel Gelling als Moore of Braddan, died about 30 March 1767:

‘The last will and testament of Isabel Gellin als Moore of the parish of KK Braddan who departed this life about the 30th day of March last before the subscribing witnesses in manner following. First, she being ill and weak in body but of perfect and sound mind and memory, bequeathed her soul to Almighty God, and her body to be buried after a decent and Christian manner. And as for such worldly goods and effects that God was pleased to endow her with, she left as followeth: First, she left her son Robert half a crown, and to her son Nicholas she left half of her sheep. Item, she bequeathed to her daughter Isabel Thomas Oates’s wife half a crown; and to her granddaughter Catharine Oates a couple of two year old sheep. Item, she left and bequeathed all her household furniture to her daughter Esther William Moore’s wife. Lastly, she nominated and appointed her son in law William Moore whole and sole executor of all the rest of her goods and effects moveable and immoveable, and of this her last will and testament as she declared the same, hereby revoking and ruling all other or former wills by her heretofore made, and this we affirm to be the last will and testament of the said Isabel Gelling als Moore as dictated and declared by herself before us. Witnesses: William Cottier, Anne Creer.

At a Chapter Court holden at Marown, 18th May 1767, the executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely Philip Cain and William Cottier one of the witnesses of the will both of Braddan.’
