Archdeacon Wills 1763 #12, Santon, of Robert Fannan:

‘The last will and testament of Robert Fannan in the parish of KK Santan who departed this life the 10th of February 1763, as follows:
First, he committ his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.
Item, he left and bequeathed to his son Frances and his daughter Margaret two pounds apiece.
Lastly, he nominated, constituted and appointed his loving wife Margaret Fannan als Crebbin whole and sole executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
Witnesses: John Curphey, John Quirk.

At a Court of Correction holden at Castletown February 23, 1763, the executrix is sworn in Court in for of Law, and there being no relation on the part of the dead within this Isle, the orphans and their goods are committed to the tuition of their mother, who has given pledges in form of Law to pay debt and legacies’
