Archdeacon Wills 1762 #50, Arbory, of Thomas Moore of Arbory:

‘This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Thomas Moore of KK Arbory who departed this life about the 24th of March last, being in sound mind and memory at the making the same. First, he commended his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he left unto his son Robert his part of the house and all the appurtenances therunto belonging together with all the wearing apparel as also what sheep he had, he, the said Robert, paying twenty shillings apiece to the rest of his [Robert’s] brothers and sisters viz., Samuel, William, Isabel & Catharine. And nominated and appointed all his said children co-executors in all the rest of his goods moveable and immovable. Witnesses: John Moore, John Carran.

At a Chapter Court holden in Castletown June 16th 1762, Samuel & William Moore as also William Bridson husband of the above Isabel & Nicholas Tyldesley Husband of the above named Catharine all appeared and agreed in Court that the said Nicholas Tyldesley should have the whole right of the household goods of the above named Testator, whereupon the said Nicholas Tyldesley is sworn executor in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely xxx of Castletown & the Revd. John Moore Vicar of Arbory.’
