Archdeacon Wills 1758 #8, Malew, of Catharine Mylrea of Malew:

‘Ballasolleh in the Parish of KK Malew: the last will and testament of Cathn. Mylrea in the Parish of KK Malew being in perfect mind and memory at the making hereof committed her soul to God Almighty’s protection, and her body to Christian burial whenever it pleased his Almighty’s pleasure to call for her out of this world. Item, she bequeathed unto Mary Mylrea vizt. Charles Mylrea’s wife two petticoats, and six pence apiece legacy to any person pretending right. Lastly, she constituted, nominated and appointed her niece Ann Norris whole and sole executrix of all the rest of goods moveable and immoveable. Witnesses Allice Kneen, Mary Gilmore.

At a Court of Correction holden at Castletown Feb. 22nd, 1758, the executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for payment of debts and legacies vizt. Richard Kneen and Richard Corrin both of Malew.’
