Ramsey Feb 17 1756 Martin Corkill perished by sea on the coast of Scotland on or about the 18th of Octr last past intestate. The court having intelligence thereof decrees his four children namely Elizth, Isabel, Willm & Ellinr Corkill joint admors of all his goods & chattells whatsoever who being all under age, & no relation on the dead's part appearing to be sworn supervisor. Ellinr the widow to whose tuition the deads part of the orphans & their goods are in the meantime comitted is sworn to bring a perfect inventory to the registry - and hath given pledges in form of law namely John Kneale & Willm Kneale both of Lezayre decetum est solvit 3s Ro Radcliffe Matths Curghey ...detailed inventory ... total amount of the within inventory on the deads & livings part £12 12 10½ deads part whereof £6 6 5¼ out of which to be deducted on the dead's part vizt To court fees for a decree of Administration 0 3 4 To the sumnr in respect of his office for 2 days attendance 0 0 8 so remains towards paymt of the decadnt debts £6 2 5¼ debts claimed, proved & ordered to be paid
