Episcopal Wills 1752 Malew #3, of John Quay

Castletown Nov 2d 1752
John Quay son of Robert Quay late
of Castletown departed this life in the 
month of May 1751 intestate. The Court
upon intelligence thereof hath decreed
Margt Leives als Quay, sister of the half
blood, by the father and Frances & Ann
Quay, sisters of the whole blood by a second
venter, joint administxes of all his goods
& chattells moveable & immoveable whatsoever
Margt being absent & Ann underage,
Frances is sworn for payment of debts
according to law, as also to bring to the regry
a perfect inventory for the benefit of all
concerned, to these ends she has given pledges
namely Mr Willm Curghey & Willm Chapman
Sd Frances is also sworn supervisor of her
sister Ann in form of law
decretum est
Ro Radcliffe
Matths Curghey
solvit 3s 0d

The baptisms of these cannot be found though the name Frances is not common - a Frances Slater als Quay is buried Malew 16 Aug 1755 with a marriage to Richard Slater at Malew 9 Jan 1753; Richard Slater was I think the widower of Elizabeth Slater als Quay married Malew 8 Aug 1750 (? 4 Aug as there is a similar entry in Rushen) buried Malew 25 May 1752; Richard Slater was possibly the Captain of Castle Rushen who was buried aged 67 in 1772 or Richard Slater, smith ;.
