KK St Ann, This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Thomas Kissage who departed this life about the 14th of November 1745, being in perfect mind & memory at the making thereof. First, he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he bequeathed to his brother his walking cane. Item, he bequeathed equally betwixt his brothers two eldest sons his moiety of the sheep that he and his brother had between them. Item, he bequeathed equally betwixt his brothers said sons, his part of the sheep that he and his brothers eldest son had between them. Item, he appointed that Thomas Moore of Balnahow should give his brothers youngest son three ewe lambs (in lieu of which he owed him), otherwise if the said Moore should neglect to give, desired that his brother should put him to his oath for the same. Item, he left to his brothers daughter twenty shillings. Item, he bequeathed to Elizabeth Bridson his sis Elinors daughter all his right and property in all the ewes on his fathers farm, and also the greatest chest he had which was made of oak. Item, he bequeathed to Isable Leece his sister Isables daughter twenty shillings. Item, he bequeathed to his sister Janes eldest son twenty shillings. Item, he bequeathed to his sister Deboras eldest son all the right that he had to the sheep on the Corvalley, and to his said sisters second son twenty shillings. Also, he left to his brother in law Thomas Clucas the newest coat he had. Likewise he bequeathed to any of his relations that should claim right to his goods six pence legacy. Lastly, he appointed and nominated his loving father and mother his true and lawful executors of all his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever. Witnesses: John Fargher, Margrat Tear.
The executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for payment of debts and legacies vizt., James Kennish and Barnabas Kennish of KK St. Anne.
