Archdeacon Wills 1741/2 #123, Malew, of Isabel Quirk als Oates of Castletown:

‘Castletown: The last will and testament of Isable Quirk alias Oats who commits her soul to God and her body to Christian burial, desires that this her last will may be committed in writing being in perfect mind and memory at the making hereof, in manner following: Item, she leaves all her worldly goods to her son in law Thomas Waterson and her daughter Katrin his wife and nominates and appoints the said Thomas Waterson and Katrin his wife sole executors of all her goods moveable and immovable whatsoever, cutting all her children and claimers off with six pence legacy each. Witness her mark to her name this 23rd of May 1738. [signed her mark] Isable Quirk alias Oats. Witnesses: William Killey, Edward Waterson.

Thomas Waterson the executor mentioned in this will is sworn in Court in form of Law and has given pledges Richard Slater and John Taubman. Probatum est, [signed] Jon. Cosnahan, Edv: Moore’
