About the month of April Last or in the beginning of
May John Howard happening to come in our Company
Whereupon Asking him how have you John a mind to
Settle your Effects not Knowing how soon you may Die
as you are a Lad that goes so often over Seas & some
mischance might happen you   you say you are worth
a good Sume of money & what will it be amoung so many
you know you have two Sisters in London & your Sister
Ester with you Sister Betty & Wm. your Brother with all =
your Talk it will not be much amoung them all
                       
I Desire of you  ^Said he^  that youl, Remember that if any thing
shall happen yt. I [gave] my Sister Ester Sixpence
& both my Sisters in London with Sixpence a piece
to be Debarred from haveing any Share in my goods
after my Decease & the rest of my goods Equally between
my Brother & Sister Wm. and Betty as Wittness our hands
this the 9 of December 1741 __

                                       Decr. 9th 1741 ~

          The Witnesses have made Oath to the truth of
          the above declaration ~ which is Accepted _
          for the Last Will of John Howard - And thereupon
          his Brother & Sister Vizt. Wm. & Betty Howard _ 
          are Sworn Execrs. in form of Law _ And have 
          given pledges Vizt. The Witnesses of the Will _
