Archdeacon Wills 1735 #21, Rushen, of Henry Crebbin of Soroby, Rushen, died 12 April 1735:

"This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Henry Crebbin of Soroby in the parish Trinity Rushen who departed this life the 12th April 1735, being of perfect mind and sound memory at the making hereof.
First he committed his soul of God and his body to Christian burial.
Item, he bequeathed and left seven pound ten shillings equally betwixt his five Daughters (viz.) Alice, Joney, Isabel, Ann and Cathrine Crebbin.
Item, he left his half of the intack to his son John Crebbin.
Item, he left a sheep betwixt his two grandsons John and Patrick Crebbin.
Item, he left four yards of mixt cloth to his son in law John Crebbin.
Item, the Testator declared upon his death bed that the under named persons owed him as hereafter follows, vizt.,
due from Richard Callister, nineteen shillings and ten pence;
Item, from Timothy Crebbin junior twenty shillings and five pence;
Item, from Charles Quayle six shillings and seven pence;
Item, from John McDannel four shillings;
Item, due from John Redfern four shillings and eight pence;
Item, from John Crebbin four shillings.
Item he nominated constituted and appointed his loving wife Margret Crebbin als Waterson to be sole Executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
Witnesses: Timothy Crebbin, John Crebbin.

The Executrix sworn in Court in form of Law. Pledges are Timothy Crebbin and John Crebbin son & heir of the deceased.

March 17th, 1741, Anne Cowin als Crebbin came this day and acknowledged to have received her full proportion of the legacy bequeathed unto her by the Testator and does hereby acquit the Executrix for the same. Before me [signed] Ro: Radcliffe, Registrar.

July 13th, 1742, Thomas Walton husband of Isabel Crebbin mentioned in the within will came this day and received the sum of thirty shillings being his wife’s proportion of the seven pound ten shillings bequeathed unto her by her father, and does hereby acquit and discharges the Executrix forever for the same. Before me [signed] Ro: Radcliffe, Registrar."
