Archdeacon Wills 1733/4 #76, Malew, of Margaret Taubman als Norris, died 13 December 1733:

"The last will and testament of Margaret Taubman als Norris who died about the 13th of December.
First, she committed her soul to God and body to Christian burial. Item, she bequeathed unto her son Thomas all the houses and lands called the Whitestone and that he her said son should pay unto her son John the sum of twenty pounds which was mentioned in the said John’s Contract in bargain.
Item, she bequeathed unto her son Thomas the cupboard, chair, table, and a pewter dish.
Item, she bequeathed unto her son Thomas and her son John whatever goats there was equally between them.
Item, she bequeathed unto her son Thomas the dales which was upon the loft if he would put a coffin upon her; if not that her daughter Ellinor was to have them.
Item, she bequeathed unto her daughter Margret Tynesley forty shillings, a furlet of barley and a chest which was beside the bed.
Item, she bequeathed unto her daughter Elizabeth Preston her black suite of clothes.
Lastly, she constituted and appointed her daughter Ellinor Taubman whole Executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever and ordered that if her said daughter Ellinor should sell any of the land that her son Thomas was to have the first offer thereof and that if her son Thomas would have a mind to redeem the same that he might, and appointed that her said daughter Ellinor was to get a crop of the lands of the Whitestone. Witnesses: John Cannell, Mary Crelling.

The Executrix sworn in form of Law and gave in Pledges John Preston & John Cannel for the due execution of the above Will."
